An amusing video about how Eva, a bearded collie, can follow a BPMN diagram developed using SAP Netweaver BPM.

A couple of thoughts having watched the video:

– the dog can only follow the instructions when guided by someone around the course

– the dog is doing it for the biscuit at the end.

Without labouring the point, we need end uses to be able to understand process notation without handholding or instruction and do it because it makes their lives better, not for some titbit at the end.

So BPMN is very valuable and has its place as Sourcing Shangri-La spelled out in his post  Final Touches: BPMN Silk Purse Almost Ready, but it is probably not here.
